Cruise Calls

Turku is a small cruise destination but with prospect to grow. This season we welcome nine cruise vessels bringing mainly German, British and American guests. The vessels will be greeted by music at the pier and market stalls selling local handicrafts and souvenirs will be set up at Turku Castle inner courtyard near the port. A free shuttle bus operates between the pier and the city centre throughout the call stopping at Turku Castle both ways. The centre is only three km from the port.

Turku Cruise Port recently carried out a cruise satisfaction survey. The cruise guests regarded Turku as a clean and safe city with friendly people and good service. The city is of compact size and offers plenty of interesting sights and events. It is important to get regular feedback from both crews and passengers about Turku as a cruise destination. This will help us to constantly improve our services to better meet our guests’ needs.
