Good connections ensure smooth transport chains

The basis for the Port's service capacity is laid by good sea and road connections which allow for combining different modes of transport into multimodal transport services. As a result the overall efficiency of logistics increases while the costs and environmental impacts decrease.

The Port of Turku is part of the Nordic Triangle, included in the European Union's TEN traffic network, and a major junction in the motorway of the Baltic Sea. In addition to international connections, the Port offers good connections to the most important traffic routes in Finland.
